Beatles Rock Band and others slashed for Christmas Amazon sales

Amazon is holding a 12 days of Christmas sale, where it cuts up to 60% of the price of games, and offers £50 off games consoles like the PS3. The savings on an Xbox 360 console are only £10, so expect Sony to have the better quarter in the UK.

One of the best deals on any product, is on one of our top Cool Wall games purchases for the year, The Beatles Rock Band, which is down from £49.99 to just £17.87 and is delivered free for a saving of 64%. Other versions of the Beatles Rock Band, including the box sets ahave similar savings. Borderlands from 2K games is down from £44.99 to just £23.99 on both the Xbox and the PS3, and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars for the PSP is off £10 down to just £19.97, as is Tom Clancy’s HAWK for the PS3.

Other noted games on the list with decent cuts include Red Faction, the latest Harry Potter game and the Wii Fitness Personal Trainer.

The rest of the games on offer are mostly slow sellers, but can all be seen at the link here.

We already find that most games are cheaper on Amazon anyway and in the run up to Christmas, it’s the only way to ensure you get the games to arrive on time, because Amazon delivery is quicker and more reliable than most.
