Teh internets – Attack of the memes, iPod app that will make you rofl, lol and fail

It’s about time that someone paid tribute to all the wonderful memes that 21st century life would be so pointless without (and gave me an excuse to fill an articles with some of my favourites, I can’t even remember a time before lol, brb, w00t) and Insurgent Games has done just that with teh new iPod app Teh Internets – Attack of the Memes which features all the awesomeness of lol, lol catz, fail and all the other great l33t lingo that has become embedded in our brains in one addictive side scrolling app.

In the game you pilot a ROFLcopter avoiding pop up windows, feeding flaming trolls cheezburgers and collecting lol catz. You start with three lives and if you fail ur greeted with the blue screen of EPIC FAIL. The game of course comes with a leader board and a series of achievements to aim for with names like it’s peanut butter jelly time and n00bs first lol cat.

“OMG! This game is the awesome sauce!” enthuses Crystal Mayer co-founder of Insurgent Games. And I’d have to agree with him, this is a hilarious app for anyone who has ever used lol, omg, brb, or rofled at a lol cat and a great way to waste some time.
