Get into the groove with Sims 3 World Adventures

Well not quite the groove that fans of 80s pop fans are thinking of but the groove of recent pop hits rerecorded by the original artists in Simlish to be included in the first Sims 3 expansion pack; The Sims 3 World Adventures. Those lending their vocal stylings to the game include Nelly Furtado, Pixie Lott and Katie Melua among other lesser known popular artistes. Simlish for those not familiar with the Sims is the language of Sims, basically the Klingon of computer games but a lot cooler.

EA have even released a music video of the Simlish version Nelly Furtado Song Manos al Aire, from her recent Spanish language album Mi Plan. A great song for sure but as it’s in Spanish the Simlish version makes as much sense to me as the original version (apologies to the Spanish community but when it comes to Spanish this dog el mucho incomprehendo). The video itself is actually quite well made and offers an exciting glimpse into the world of the expansion pack.

The Sims 3 World Adventures features the first adventure gameplay in the Sims as players take their Sims to real world style locations to partake in potential peril and exciting Indiana Jones style adventures. The locations Sims can visit include Shang Shimla in China, Champs Les Sims and El Simhara in Egypt, where they can master martial arts, fall in love or go exploring. After the romping success of the Sims 3 earlier in the year I’m sure this will be a must on every Sims fans Christmas list (I know it is on mine). The Sims 3 World Adventures is out this Friday.
