Finally a $9.99 digital photo greeting card you can mail to Grandma

It’s finally here, the disposable mailable digital picture frame you just pop in the mail to grandma, It holds up to 50 digital photos, which will show in a slideshow and lasts for 2-1/2 hours of cumulative viewing. The card has a built in 1.44 inch LCD, and a mini USB jack as well as software to transfer your pics from your computer. The person that gets the pictures can move them back to their computer to save them or print them. Kind of like mailing them a really little thumb drive.

The cards accept JPEG, GIF and BMP photo formats. Additionally, consumers receiving the card can save the photos on the card to a home computer by the same process.

There are a number of styles and designs available such as “love, thinking of you, anniversaries, congratulations, birthdays, happy holidays, and season’s greetings”. Like those musical cards these cards turns on and off when you open the card and fortunately will turn off after five minutes to save the tiny little battery. Be the first geek on your block to send one. After all how many times can you buy that card that plays “Wild Thing”?

You can buy  three packs in birthday, holiday and various sets for $34.99 from Amazon.
