About Walri
Walri is a career analyst and journalist with 20 years experience and has an addiction to shopping at Amazon. Books by the truck load arrive every day, and it is rumoured that he uses them as Tusk blocks, to prevent inadvertent tuskings.
It is said he has been cold shouldered so many times (by spiky PR people no doubt) that he feels as if he’s been sent to the North Pole – hence, his alter-ego as an avuncular Walrus.
He specialises in wireless technologies, network deployment economics and new business models enabled by new technologies – but enough of his hobbies. Walri is a devout Sony believer, hates all things made by Apple and is the only person we know over 30 who can program a DVR, a DVD recorder and a Homechoice set top, all at the same time, in under a minute.
Walri is calm in a crisis, as are all Walruses, generous of heart and spirit, can eat 3,000 clams at one sitting, hates Inuits (Eskimo’s to you) who are known to shoot Walruses and runs when he sees a Polar Bear (who doesn’t). Email him here
